The Clowns-------------------- NOTES_________________ I love clownish designs, and I probably wouldn't if SOMEONE hadn't come into my life and stuck their finger into the soft spot on the top of my skull when I was 11. In terms of clown-levels, these guys are pretty tame. It's clear they didn't put their hearts into their costumes and just wanted to pretty themselves up with a few stripes and polka dots. Maybe I'll give a few of them some redesigns and throw them into a harlequin outfit complete with the headpiece. -------------------- ------------------------------MORS NON EST FINIS------------------------------ |

JAYWATCH REBOOT-------------------- NOTES_________________ A more recent redesign. Her original design suuuucked, she was wearing a motorcycle helmet for some reason. Making an interesting color palette out of mostly shades of grey and black is very difficult. -------------------- |

PIXIESTIX REBOOT-------------------- NOTES_________________ The foil to Jaywatch in every way. Her color scheme was difficult, but on the opposite spectrum to Jay's. It's hard to balance a ton of bright or pale colors. -------------------- |

MELISSA REDESIGN-------------------- NOTES_________________ Her clothes have changed the most here, and her colors are more saturated. I wanted her outward appearance to reflect her messy but well-intentioned nature. She's slapped every interest of hers into one outfit. -------------------- |

CONSTANCE-------------------- NOTES_________________ Honestly the most fun character to draw outfits for. Her hobbies include watching her mom work on cars, feeding the stray cats at night and fighting other children in the cafeteria. -------------------- |

ESMERALDA FINAL DESIGN-------------------- NOTES_________________ I struggle with characters who aren't loud and boisterous. It's hard for me to get into the heads of quiet or nervous characters. Esmeralda went through several iterations to find a design that was visually interesting while also demonstrating her personality. It was hardest to find the right color for her to wear. I love giving characters bright colors, but the neutrals suited her best. -------------------- |

ARMY CREW REDESIGN-------------------- NOTES_________________ Four army friends, dressed to the nines, finally given the redesigns they so desperately needed. It was bad for a while. They all had giant heads and tiny bodies. They were literally proportioned like lollipops. -------------------- |

LEVI, SIN OF ENVY-------------------- NOTES_________________ Somebody has pointed out to me that there is another envy sin in "Obey Me" with the same name as my character here. I will never sleep again. -------------------- |

ARIELLE SUMMER OUTFIT-------------------- NOTES_________________ Like her daughter, Arielle is hard to design outfits for. It took me a long time to realize and accept that she too looks best in neutrals. I wanted to do more to display her journalist career, but there's no real journalist "look" that doesn't make her look like Carmen Sandiego. Sadly, her husband Damian has a design but doesn't have a proper character sheet to display. -------------------- |

KATHLEEN AND SAMSON REVAMP-------------------- NOTES_________________ More children of Arielle (she has a fourth, Terra, who doesn't have a proper character sheet but is Esmeralda's twin), and in the CLASSIC early 2000s fit: pink and orange plaid shorts and skort. I owned those shorts. Everyone did. -------------------- |

AZAZEL REDESIGN-------------------- NOTES_________________ Not her real name, for the record. Her original character sheet said she was wheelchair-bound for chronic pain, but she was clearly standing because I didn't know how to draw a wheelchair at the time. Now I do. Her counterpart and wife, Azrael (also not her real name) didn't have an up-to-date character sheet to display. -------------------- |

CROUVERVILLE KIDS-------------------- NOTES_________________ Child versions of some Crouverville characters (Roxanne, Linette, Crosby - in that order) Together they form the powerpuff girls. This was drawn back when Roxanne was a germophobe in Crouverville canon, hence the gloves, but eventually that trait went away because it was irrelevant and didn't serve anything else about her as a character. -------------------- |
